#Influenster #DiscoverNewFavorites

Recently I joined a time-killer website called #influenster, another recommendation by my lovely friend Katie and her blog Katie in Kansas. It is a website that you log all of your social media accounts and they send you free products to review and plug. Soooo of course I had to join and after only a month of doing random reviews I received the Tresemme Perfectly UnDone FULL SIZE shampoo and conditioner! Here is my little YouTube unveiling...it's all about getting the points.

Now, onto the review:

6/10 Tresemme Perfectly UnDone Conditioner:
Eh, was NOT a huge fan of the conditioner. The smell was wonderful and it washed out well with no greasy residue. I have had some conditioners that were hard to wash out and left my roots oily, this conditioner had the opposite problem. This conditioner left my hair dry, stiff, and lacking moisture.

7/10 Tresemme Perfectly UnDone Shampoo:
I liked this product way more than the conditioner, but it still wasn't my favorite and I can't say that I would give it a glowing recommendation. I only used both the shampoo and conditioner together so I cannot speak to how moisturizing the shampoo was alone. I ended up giving both products to my boyfriend and he enjoys the shampoo. It does great things to the natural blonde highlights he has.

Although I can't say I would recommend these two products to any of my long haired ladies, I DEFINITELY recommend Influenster and free products!....except the Panty liners they keep trying to get my to opt in for. Buh.

Hello, my name is Ashley. I'm a shopaholic.

I shouldn't be allowed out of the house. Today I was on call at Boone Hospital, so no fun summer activities for me. Instead I just decided to go for a run, get my oil changed, and go on a shopping spree. Oops!

Here is my latest haul!

Stop #1: Sephora
I had no idea Columbia had one and they give samples of ANYTHING you want! I've been wanting a light foundation to wear at work so I picked up some BareMinerals Matte (review when I try it out) and the BareMinerals bronzer (faux tan). I applied for a JcP credit card and got seriously 50 samples of products from around the store and a huge makeup bag!

Stop #2: The Shoe Dept.

I've been wanting some leather Sperrys but really didn't want to spend $70 on shoes that aren't running shoes. So I found some cute off brand ones for only $30! Then, I saw some cute sandals and had to splurge, it's summer who can blame me!

Stop #3: Victoria's Secret

The bane of my existence >_< I spend way too much money here consistently. I told myself I wouldn't buy anymore swimsuits, then I saw this top and that went out the window.

Stop #4: Marshall's

This is the only place I can find black leggings that aren't cotton, and no pants are more than $20...the two shirts were impulsive buys, bad habit.

I'm sure ill have some buyer's remorse tomorrow...but it will go away when I enjoy my new buys :P

Celebrate, We Will!

So, here is my first blog post! My friend Katie, whom I met freshman year of college (Hatch Hall, y'all!), has inspired me to start my little nook of the internet! My life isn't quite as interesting as her newly wed one, but I thought it would be fun to document my summer travels, first time using foundation, DIY masterpieces (or disasters), and how I kick my feet up while at work. Enjoy! :D

"Celebrate we will,
Because life is short but sweet for certain!
We're climbing two by two,
To be sure these days continue-
These things we cannot change.

"Hey, my love, you came to me like wine comes to this mouth.
Grown tired of water all the time-
You quench my heart and you quench my mind!"
